Kind of a let down to be honest. Maybe I just had high expectations after reading about it and learning about it in Art History way back in college. Once there, waiting in line on a sunny, 90 degree day with no shade for over an hour just to see a whole lot of empty rooms was a complete buzzkill. The hall of mirrors and the Crusades rooms were both standouts - as were the magnificent gardens. The rest was just 'ok', and that's not okay for a World Heritage site.
