Joined Thorn Baker in October 2018 as in desperate need of a change of scenery from the job I had at the time. As unprofessional of me as it was I had no choice but to take my 1 year old daughter with me to sign up and obviously she chose the time I was there to be an absolute nightmare, Sarah and Katie there were very understanding and even helped keep the sprog occupied with chocolate while i filled in forms! They got me into work within a day to two and despite a couple of absences in the beginning, which the company were obviously annoyed with but still remained understanding, kept me in work from signing up in October until April this year when an employer they had placed me with took me on full time. During my 6 months as agency staff I had no problem ever contacting anyone in the office I needed to speak to, calls always answered immediately or returned promptly, direct messages
to my consultant Sarah were again answered either immediately or replied to promptly, holiday pay accrued easily and paid as and when required without fuss, pay day came and went every Friday without any hassle or problems and just generally found my time with Thorn Baker straight forward and stress free, one placement ended and another started with no messing about in between. Unfortunately, despite early optimism, the job I left the agency for has turned out to be not right for me and within the last few days have had to call it a day on my time there! I didn t hesitate to come back to Thorn baker. I messaged Sarah directly, she had me straight back in to re-sign with them the next day and would already be back in work if not for a holiday I have booked! Obviously can t comment on other peoples experiences but I myself genuinely have had noIssues or grievances with them or I wouldn t have gone back, highly recommend
