Went for some quiet drinks one night to get some writing done. I wanted a nice enough cocktail that was not served to me in a plastic cup, and I also didn t want to be bothered with talking. I drink often enough at the King Cole Bar in NYC, but forgot there was a St. Regis in Atlanta , so I made a beeline for it. Walking in from valet, The lobby of the hotel is gracious , albeit a little sleepy for 8pm. Up the stairs and down the corridor Atlas on the right, Bar on the left. It was moodily lit, which I love and I sat at the bar. My bartender filled my drink with the St. Regis Woodford Reserve, gave me some snacks, and it was effortless as always.
