We had all our windows replaced along with the siding also had all the plywood removed and closed cell spray foam done from the outside. Then new sheathing all around the whole house. Tyvek all seems we re taped in the tyvek. Used silicone and tyvek window tape on new construction viwinco windows. We bought the best windows they had rated for the north east. As I lay here in bed and watch my window dressings sway back and forth with each wind my blood boils. I would not suggest these windows for any project that you want to get good performance out of. Flipping a house yes no problem but Energy Efficient no way they re absolutely horrible. We re now considering our options for news windows 3 years after buying these things.
