I had a negative experience with Native Ken.

I had a negative experience with Native Ken.

Online frame selection seemed great. I found a pair of frames that were sold out everywhere, and I was very excited. I emailed NK to make sure they had the frames in stock. They intially replied with a no. Five minutes later, they replied saying they had found a pair. I was excited. The next bit is a mess, so I will lay it out as a timeline for clarity. For reference, the website says the frames ship in two days.

4/17 - Order submitted and confirmed with email
4/20 - I email asking about shipping status, no reply.
4/25 - I email again and get a response blaming a "server update" and an apology saying my order will be "pushed through."
4/26 - I reply to the email from 4/25 asking for an estimated ship date. No response.
4/27 - I email again. This time, there was a "warehouse flood" and I should expect a tracking number the following Wednesday.
5/12 - Radio silence for nearly two weeks. I email asking about my order. No response.
5/15 - I email again. Turns out my frames were supposedly destroyed in the flood. Refund issued.

You don't have to be a private investigator to know that series of events makes absolutely no sense. Acetate frames destroyed by a flood? Is that a joke? Two stars for inventory selection (that they may not even have) and for Christos taking the time to respond to my emails.. sometimes. I do not feel that he was honest throughout the transaction.

I do not recommend this business. I ended up ordering frames direct from the manufacturer and they were shipped out within 12 hours.
