I love a Yarn Story! I have followed them to Walcot street from their original site in Box near to Bath. They are now located in a wonderful artisan street in the center of Bath, cheek by jowl with some other of Bath s special stores,
Nothing is too much trouble for Carmen or her wonderful team.
Technical help is available in the store when trying a new method, for example making my first pair of socks! I have also been completely converted to knitting in the round, on circular needles.
I fall in love with all the yarns Carmen stocks, and despite being a fairly small store the variety and range of hand dyed and hand spun yarns is amazing. What to knit next is always my dilemma, as I lead a very busy life, but I constantly have a couple of projects on the go, one small one such as a heavenly light weight scarf in cashmere that will slip into my bag when travelling, and perhaps a jumper in one of the gorgeous teal blue yarns for a member of my large family.
