Yellowstone is a very large and scenic park. Unfortunately like Yosemite and similar places the cost of staying there is very expensive. So start saving and enjoy the natural beauty.
If you're staying by canyon lodge near the east end of Yellowstone make sure to visit artist point about 15min drive, you'll be impressed, if you pass the upper falls and no lines go and stop there also take trail down to fall ~600' decent down but you'll be right at the fall.
