I stayed here because I read that it was haunted. So I went to see for myself. While I didn't see anything, I do swear I did hear crying in the middle of the night. I'm not sure what this sound was since I was on the 6th floor and it didnt sound like it was coming from the vent either. It was just really weird in the middle of the night to hear. But let me get to the hotel itself, this hotel is so nice in general. It's in a not so great part of Baltimore but this place is nice to stay in. I had a partial view room but the view wasnt that spectacular but it was what it was. I was actually very impressed that they have curtains that blackened out everything and I mean everything. I couldnt even see any light peaking through at all. The room that I had was clean and it had hot water in the shower that came on right away (which I don't find in every hotel I have ever stayed in). The only thing about the bathroom that bothered me was that the handle was a bit broken on my sink but it was ok, I was able to still use it. My floor was a little bit noisy but not so bad. There is no parking around this hotel because its surrounded by other hotels too and street parking is not an option since all the parking you have around here is metered parking or parking garages. So you're kind of forced to either use the garage or take the hotel parking for extra money with in and out privileges and valets. So I took the hotel parking for the extra money. Also, parking is charged per night here so you also have to consider that too. But I liked the way they did the parking because they give you a number that you can text to get your car and within 10 minutes, your car is waiting for you. The people who worked at the front desk were nice except for one guy who answered the phone about 3 hours before I checked in to ask them if I can come early for check in, he was a bit rude. Other than that, I had no other complaints about the rest of the people at the front desk. I had a pretty good experience at this hotel and I liked the old feel that it has in its entry way decor. I would stay here again if I go back to Baltimore.
