I have done my Masters along with my job at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited. It is a secluded and a massive campus and can be lonely who come here from far off areas. Although I did not like the courses and faculties but NIT Trichy more than makes up for it in their various efforts to expand the infrastructure, glamorized events, bringing in 24x7 Cafe Coffee Day, placements, etc.
In the past 10 years the college has seen tremendous increase in infrastructure, thanks to the huge funding from government. Many new buildings have sprung up and life at NITT has seen a shift from what I had seen.
The students gets lots of time to think about their future course of action. Many NITTians are good athletes and during evening many indulge in sports activities.
Overall, it is worth coming to NITT !!
