The lines even to get from room to room are ridiculous. The true story of the Castle is sad when you think of what it meant for the people of France. Be prepared for pickpockets. Because of the crowds, I would recommend experiencing Versailles through pictures and videos online. Spend your time with other activities or tours elsewhere.
