Under normal circumstances I would describe Fiora's as an elegant dining experience with quality food. My recent experience wasn't elegant and the food was not memorable. I'm not suggesting the food was bad just ordinary. What took me by surprise was that the food was served in plastic carryout containers on paper plates with plastic utensils. Sangria was served with no accompanying fruit and was no better than a bottle of Aldi white wine all served in plastic cups. To complete the experience guests are directed to portalets and not a bathroom with running water.

For this experience you pay premium pricing on the menu and must pay a $25 surcharge per table. The night would have been just as enjoyable at a rock-n-roll McDonalds for a fraction of the cost.

There are some positives, the service was good, the atmosphere pleasant and the live music was great. Now I know many restaurants are dealing with the fallout from Covid-19, but this dining experience was truly lacking, especially having ate at Preservation bread Co. last week where the food was served warm not wilted, on real plates, with real silverware. We finished off our evening at Kilwins where we used the washroom.
