I had a bad experience, when I bought a used car and realized after the fact there were many unneeded insurances added on and short warranties worth over 50% of the cost of my vehicle. It is my first car, and I went car shopping by myself without anyone's assistance (in hindsight I don't recommend doing that your first time) it all happened so fast and I didn't have time to read what I was signing, and took some misleading statements at face value.
Later realized that before even factoring in GST or interest I had paid $15,909.91 for a car worth $10,595 -- so that's $5,314.91 or 50% of the value of the car in extra warranties and insurance. So imagine my disbelief when I found out the warranty was only good for 6 months and I was no longer covered.

Initially I gave Coastal Ford Burnaby 1 Star, because not only did I feel like I had been taken for a fool, when I called and asked questions about it I felt like I was given the run around by some of the staff there.

I am however, changing my review and giving it 3 stars, solely because the manager Gary was so quick to rectify the situation upon hearing about it. He called me within an hour, and ordered my file from off site storage on a rush, he called me the very next day and set up an appointment for me to come in, and go over the paperwork again. I am still not happy with how I was treated up to this point, but having seen how management went out of their way to make me a happy customer I cannot blame the entire company for the actions of a few.
