Great for all events except rock ..the sound has to be kept down for it to be clear ..but most sound guys have it it their minds that your 'trousers flap and white noise..feel it in your chest etc' =rock . Rock CAN sound good at pavilions because deep purple on their first visit sounded amazing , we've seen Sophie Ellis Bextor here, and simple minds and strictly show. All of these were fantastic sound. But deep purple on second visit was ' mushy' sound ..and most of other rock bands we've seen there was similar. Yes rock means 'louder' but not at the sacrifice of the intricacies in the music. Great venue with fair prices and more than adequate parking, and staff were friendly.
