Wow, 4.4 stars? I have to say; our experience definitely doesn't agree. In house reviews perhaps? I besiege you, if you're thinking about spending the big bucks on a cabin for your Smoky Mountain vacation ... use another agency. There are good ones out there. These folks pulled a cabin out from under us just a couple months before we were scheduled to be there and nearly a year after we paid them a deposit. Granted, they claim it was out of their control ... which is possible; but they didn't call to tell us (I found out only because I called to confirm). Then they promised ability to provide an equal or better cabin that they didn't have; which I only found out by driving down there to see it (something sounded fishy). Then they tried to pawn off a choice between two rentals that weren't even actual cabins and didn't meet any of our needs other than size. By the time we knew we were going to have to try to find something through another agency they had strung us out to within one month of our scheduled arrival. I had 15 people who'd planned on this trip and it was looking like these people had me over a barrel. These reviews won't let me type enough to really detail the lack of communication, lies, trickery and general poor business practice we encountered with this agency but imagine driving five and a half hours, like my son and I did, to see several brand new cabins that were scheduled for completion soon enough for us to use as a replacement; only to find, after we get there, that there's some odd contractual reason that they can't allow us to even drive by them or tell us where they are??? Now consider how likely it is that, had it ever been true, they'd have let you drive all that way and not tell you until you walked through their door. Now imagine you're taken to those same rentals they tried to pawn off on you before and then ask yourself ... are all these things, considered together, really just a fluke or have you been strung along until you'd have to take the property they can't seem to get rented? We took the refund and found another agency. Don't give them credit for the refund either ... they had no choice since they were in breech of contract. We were very fortunate to find something, after all the deceit and delays, that wasn't much larger and much more expensive than we'd planned but, honestly, I'd have gone from my $5,000.00 planned (roughly) to more than double that for a huge lodge before I'd have let this agency make a dime from me.
