Borderless provides a unique immersive experience, a visual treat, especially for those who are into art, design or CGI. To avoid crowds, I would recommend going on a weekday and get there early (e.g. if it opens at 10am, get there and line-up at 9:30am). This allowed us to go around all the rooms with ease and no waiting times for rooms that are usually backed-up (like the lantern room). Some people don't enjoy the Nest Room, but if you lay down on the net and soak it in, I found this really relaxing, as was the wave room. If you go at 10am, you'll be finished around 12pm-1pm and there's lots of lunch options nearby.
