Step backwards going from Cub to Super One. Produce and meats seem to be lower quality but most seem more expensive. Ads are difficult to read with washed out colors on tiny pictures and huge prices over the pictures. And one has to cut coupons to use them. With Cub, you just swiped your card and got the sale price on anything you bought that was on sale. Was way more convenient. Not to mention the gas savings with the Cub card. Selection of many items has declined. Cub had range of spices including a few brands in glass jars, with organic options and spices that looked green. Now it is a few brands of what look like generic brands with brown herbs in plastic jars. Walmart even has a better selection. Cub bakery had great parbake breads compared to the brand now carried. I am very disappointed in the loss of Cub. Now Super One will own both major grocery stores in town so there won't be much choice but Walmart and Aldie. I have yet to talk to a person that likes Super One better than Cub.
