This was our first trip to Maui and it's clear this was one of the first major resorts in the area. It's in a beautiful location and spread out much more than the other close resorts. The grounds are well maintained and there's plenty of areas to find privacy. The hotel is currently under renovation but they do a great job at no letting that interfere. We were there in early Feb so the beach area was very small. So small they don't put the chairs and cabanas on the beach. They said this will change in a few months and the beachline comes back for the summer. Overall, the experience was good and we would stay again.
