Let me state first of all that there is absolutely nothing wrong with IKEA, its products and certainly not with its staff. However, if these products come from another company, any form of otherwise good quality and service is hard to find.
Our dishwasher has been nothing but misery since the purchase. Not closing properly, due to hanging lid, jumping open in a program and recently the miserable thing is leaking water. We are referred to AEG / Electrolux but there is no appointment with this and refuse to fulfill their warranty obligations (only for a fee)
Now IKEA is a seller of this junk and they are also the ones responsible. Unfortunately IKEA does not give at home and they hide behind the 'services' of Electrolux. Too bad and not correct. I mean: If you buy a rotten avocado at the greengrocer, do you go back to the greengrocer or should I contact the avocado counter?
As far as I'm concerned, this is the last household appliance I bought from IKEA.
And now I'm going to mop the kitchen again.
