Topher is simply superb. He graciously and attended to every question I had, with exceptional knowledge of the menu. Apparently we share two favorites on the menu: the fried rice and kale salad. I was also fortunate to speak to Chef Wesley, who shared his ideas for new dishes. The Optimist is one of my most favorite restaurants in the world! Exceptional atmosphere, food and people.
