2011: I purchased ESET NOD32 antivirus online, after several attepts because their website kept freezing. Once the purchase was complete, I received an email with doanload instructions. I downloaded the installer file but it wouldn't open because it was corrupted. I sent an email with no reply. I tried calling their dedicated number for download and installation issues. Never went past the switchboard because it kept me on hold for over 30 minutes. I still don't have an anti-virus and can't use my computer.

2014: 3 years later, my impression of ESET has improved and is improving. I have continued to use ESET on my home computer without any issues. Got a cold call from their Director of Business development. He followed up on my comment, explained how I was important to them as a customer and talked about improvements that he is planning to bring about. Having dealt with all the software companies throughout my life (Microsoft, Google, Apple, LinkedIn, etc), this was the first time ever of someone actually paying attention to issues and frustrated response and calling me back to check. This sort of dedication does not go unnoticed and ultimately adds to the strength of the organization. Much appreciated.
