The hospital is good and most of the nurses are great. I would have given 5 star for the treatment and services. However, the reason for giving one star is billing/charges.

Had to go so much back and forth with the hospital on this one. They charged $1000 for a nurse who was on standby for my wife's C-Section. Just for standby, the charges are ridiculous

Second, after delivery, we went to the postpartum room and stayed there for 2 more nights. In the bill, we were charged for a recovery room as well as a postpartum room. OMG, they basically charged us for one room twice and these charges run into thousands. Upon checking the itemized statement there were a couple of charges which were extra which the Nurse Manager helped in getting them corrected

Third, After delivery my wife and son were in the postpartum room and they charged both my wife and my son for the same room. Again the charges running in thousands. In my son's bill, they billed us nursery charges, we never let my son stay in the nursery. He was in the same room as my wife. Upon asking the Patient Financial Services referred to the charges initially as "Room and Board" to which we replied that my wife is already being billed for the room. Then they corrected and stated that the charges as the "Care charges" I agree that nurses cared for my son on my first day but on the second and third day, my mother in law, father in law and I took care of the baby. When this was told to the Financial Services they yet again corrected themselves stating that the charges were "Overhead Charge". So I asked them that they were basically charging us $1300/day for bassinet and diaper supplies. To which they replied it is what it is and that they don't do anything different from other hospitals.

I don't mind paying for the services that my family have used but paying double or for services that we have not used digs unnecessary hole in my pocket
