We had a great stay at Novotel Maastricht with our family. I chose this hotel because it's always very family friendly. Enough activities to keep the kids busy, like the pool and the playground inside and outside. The Covid-19 rules were very clear and the staff really did what they could do to explain and keep everyone safe within the guidelines.
Our room was very neat, had all the necessities for a comfortable stay and the beds (and pillows!) are just perfect!! The staff placed an extra (baby) bed for our 2yo and made sure that our family had to rooms next to each other. They were also very helpful when we had an issue with our shower. It was immediately taken care off. Very good to know about the rooms is that there is almost no noise from other rooms or outside. Feels like it is very well isolated.
Breakfast is very good, everything you want to have to start your day with.
Due to the covid-19 rules we unfortunately couldn't have dinner at one table with the whole family so we decided not to, but otherwise we would have.
Maastrichts centre is quite close, we could've rented bikes to get there but because of the kids we took the car. Everything feels very close and nearby and the surrounding of Maastricht is just beautiful!
So nothing to complain. The only thing I can think of that I think could be done differently is paying a daily price for the parking lot. And it would be really perfect if they had a welcoming note with your name upon arrival in your room. That would just be that little extra. Apart from that we had a perfect stay, very friendly staff, good food, nice to sit outside with a drink or to take a dip in the pool, all with a nice green surrounding. Based on our experience, we would love to come back here!
