I stayed in the hotel for 17 nights in November 2020.

The top rooms are excellent, spacious, clean, huge beds, great views. If you're happy to splash out for a top spec rooms I'd happy recommend this hotel.

Unfortunately I spent two weeks in one of their cheaper rooms on a work trip and if you're thinking of one of these... Read below and judge for yourself.

We had six rooms in our group and two suffered significant plumbing issues, one suffered minor lighting issues. Around half had a pretty crummy view but to be fair that's fairly standard for Hong Kong.

Then on around day 11 two of the rooms which had already had issues suddenly stank of cigarette smoke and the smell would not shift for love nor money. It took a couple of days to convince the hotel management that the smell was bad enough to do much about (granted they provided air purifiers immediately but this did nothing to alleviate the smell).

We did eventually get upgraded to the top rooms for our last couple of days, these were another level entirely (physically and metaphorically) and as per my first paragraph, two weeks in these rooms would have been lovely.
