The Georgian is a really good venue, they regularly have great stand-up comedy on, a pantomime, and recently also had Ian McKellen on. This would be a 5-star review if it weren't for the sweltering heat and incredibly uncomfortable seating.

The Georgian has air conditioning but it is virtually never switched on, with the result that even in winter, it is an absolute sweat-fest.

Expect a good show, but expect to be fairly cramped too, as the seats are small, very very cramped, with little to no leg room.

Its a shame they cant put the comfort of their customers a little higher on the priority list, because the setting is brilliant and the shows are excellent too. It's just a pity its so unbearably hot and uncomfortable.

I will be going again, but only to the shows I REALLY want to see - where the 2 hours of discomfort are worth it for the act.
