Have dinner in the oldest standing building in Gettysburg! A Civil War Hospital, a hiding place for those seeking refuge along the Underground Railroad, a museum, a boarding school, and an amazing peice of American history! The food here...outstanding!! Try the Gettys-town Shrimp or the Crabcake! Onion Soup is to die for and the fresh bread and desserts are made on-site! The atmosphere is great! Dine by candlelight in the cellar or the main house. The main dining room does not open until 5 pm, but the Tavern downstairs opens at 11 am. They have a ballroom for special functions as well! Great for Chistmas parties or wedding receptions!
