I agree with the previous review. There are many unethical practices here. I have lived at York Plaza for about 22 months and moving very soon. When I rented the leasing agent misled me about several of the amenities. She also stated the heating was paid. However, it is not paid and my electricity bill is several hundred dollars more each year than expected. Some of my neighbors were told this is a non-smoking building when it is not. The management will also place charges on your account without your knowledge. If you question them, expect to be bullied. There are several deficiencies in my apartment - I spoke with the leasing agent about them and also sent an email. Management states they knew nothing about these issues. Honesty and integrity are not practiced here. They charged me for moving in a day early and gave me a parking spot already occupied by someone else. There were young children running in halls and disturbing others, it took management 3 months to address the issue. I live in the "dog" building; there are dogs urinating in the elevator and owners do not clean-up. There are streaks of dog urine running down the hall. It takes management a long time to address these issues, if they are addressed at all. If you decide to rent here, make sure you read the lease very, very carefully. It is several pages of fine print. Better yet, ask for a copy of the lease before you sign anything and go through it very carefully. Also, meet the manager and assistant manager before signing anything. York Plaza is way over-priced. This company, although in the business of renting apartments, looks-down on renters. Be very careful before doing business with this place.
