I would give zero stars if it was an option. I personally feel like it should be shut down until they can get more staff. This is a water park & SAFETY should be your number 1 priority. Unfortunately it s not! I have reported two different times to the supervisors who sit in the ac office all day instead of walking around checking on their team. 1. In the kiddie area kids who were unattended without an adult, were climbing up the little slides while others were going down. When several of the adults told the life guard she shrugged her shoulders like she didn t care. I told the supervisor thinking they d take care of it. Then here we are come back for another trip & kids are piled all on top of each other going down the turquoise twisting slide in the kiddie area , not being told when it s ok for the next to go down or to not pile on each other. When we told the life guard she said oh well we are short staffed! we tell the supervisor- they don t even come out and say anything to the lifeguard -nothing. We go over to the deeper area where you can walk across the big floats. One life guard to the whole deep end, while families and a daycare is in there. If you don t have staff then don t open until you do! It s the parents job to keep up with their little kids but it s also yours to ensure you have lifeguards on staff that are paying attention to kids & not getting hurt or killed. Why is it that at over locations we see the dummy doll & they are constantly testing their skills to be on top of things & supervisors walking around and at this location nothing?! Silent drowning is serious and it s going to be really sad one day if that happens while your life guards are looking around at the sky or at different locations then the pool doing an up & down watch!
