Once in a lifetime experience. It was very cumbersome to get there but I am glad we made the trip and stuck with it. Please buy your tickets in advance and "reserve" because the line is ridiculous. Either way the line it ridiculous but be prepared to wait double time if you dont reserve. The monument is amazing. well kept. The elevator swerent weren't working when we went but the stairs were great too. Pretty cool to say you did the stairs to the top. Just 195 stairs or something. No big deal :). You take a ferry to the actually island. It gets packed so again..reserve your spots and be sure to go inside the statue of liberty. If you want to do the crown you have to pay for that well in advance. We did the pedestal. Still great.
