We stopped for dinner at the cafe and were disappointed. We ordered the tri tip sandwiches thinking Madonna, you know it will good. Unfortunately, the tri tip was the toughest meat I think I've ever eaten, with lots of gristle. Ick! The potatoes were runny instant and gravy from a can. (So the dog had a really good $15 dinner tonight)

decided to try some of their world famous German chocolate cake. I'm sorry I did. The cake itself is a dense chocolate, which normally is good, but they managed to dry that cake out so much it was dry, crumble tasteless. Add, some simpke syrup or something to moisten it up. The frosting tasted canned, it looked like coconut pecan frosting. But there was no butter, pecans or coconut flavor.

I hope they were just having a bad night, this used to be such a great place to eat.
