We rented the Eden Crest Vacation Rental Unit Cedar Falls #8 in Pigeon Forge and I wish I could have given them a better review but it just wasn t possible. If you look at my other google reviews you will see that I am a fair reviewer rarely giving a bad one. This is a large home for a large family so we were excited to be all together over the long holiday break. On arrival as you can see from the photo below we never expected it would have a free curb side couch to relax on. We could live with that without too much complaint but as an Airbnb host I would never provide that kind of couch for guests, however I could overlook this by itself because it was about our family and not just a couch.

Our next experience was walking into our bedroom to find dirty towels and trash in the bedroom and bathroom closets, dirty sheets remade on one of the two beds, and missing bath linens adequate for the amount of guests. We called the management company and a very nice lady came to clean, change the linens, and give us adequate bathroom linens. Again I could begin again and overlook human error at this point.

The first night we decided to cook in house. Provided in the kitchen were only 2 small dish towels, a broken can opener, a broken mixer, and a cutting board the size of a piece of paper. The other items were adequately provided but in order to make cooking enjoyable it should have the basics in towels and appliances in good order. I have a lake home that accommodates 5 and yet it s stocked with everything to make cooking easy and that has been my experience in most rental homes until now.

The next morning which would be our first morning I stepped into the shower to find it clogged past the point of being usable. It was Thanksgiving morning, however since this home is handled by management company it should have had an on call maintenance person however we were told they don t fix things on holidays; so my husband had to become their on call maintenance person and unclog the drain that had a huge hair ball in it! How they could have cleaned this tub and not noticed it the day before is beyond me. It took only a moment to know it was clogged beyond use. I could have posted a picture but it would have made some sick so suffice to say we, the guest, took care of our own maintenance for this management company.

Lastly, when we left this morning we noticed we had a rack stolen or taken that belonged on one of our vehicles. When we called they did not care or offer assistance in what might have happened.

As a family we did not let any of their failures ruin our time but to save you from this kind of mismanagement I ve posted OUR experience. Pick another place and ask for photos if you choose this management company.
