READ BEFORE YOUR CAR PURCHASE.

I purchased a used Honda Accord from a different Sheehy (VW Springfield) and have been coming to Sheehy Honda for the past 2 years for servicing on my vehicle. I have not had a good run with either locations so far, both were not satisfactory with dealing with getting my car repaired (for info purposes, I did purchase a warranty on my vehicle upfront and VIP service package).

VW Springfield branch - I had previously purchased a vehicle from this dealership before it became a Sheehy brand, and had no problems/loved the process. So I was excited to return to buy another vehicle from the location, even though it had changed hands with management. My salesperson was good, and the process of buying my vehicle was fine. My problem was after I purchased the vehicle; I asked during the walk around (to see what blemishes or fixes I needed for me to agree to purchase) to have a bad paint spot that was very prominent on the rear driver's side door to be corrected as a part of my agreement for buying the car and was told that it would be no problem. I set up a later date where that problem and brake replacement would be addressed.

When I went in for the fix, it took a whole day to get just my brakes replaced (had not ordered the part needed ahead) so I had to lose a day of work (I live in MD) because it was impossible for me to make it to my job. After I took the car home I also realized that the paint they used did not match my vehicle paint (they used VW silver and not Honda match). I ended up paying for brake service at my local garage after this because they did not even change my brakes in the first place!

Sheehy Honda Alexandria - So I decided to go to the actual Honda branch in Alexandria under the Sheehy Group since I had such a bad experience with the VW location. Every time I go in for an oil change, I get a different review of what is actually wrong with my car (if anything at all). They also never noted that my brakes were in need of replacement, even with their "inspection". One time I discovered that they did not even put oil in my car after they serviced it, so now I ask to double check my levels before I leave.

Today I go to pick up my car after I dropped it off 2 weeks ago. 2 WEEKS. I was lucky enough to have included a loaner car in my purchase package when I bought my vehicle (if you are going to buy from them used, just get it for your own protection), but you are only allotted one per year. Thank goodness I hadn't used that one loaner yet, because I would have been screwed on transportation for the last 2 weeks if I didn't! This is after I had to haggle my insane price tag down for the work that I was getting done.

I am truly disappointed with the service I have received from this company, and can't wait until my service contract is up so I don't have to trek down the beltway for this anymore. I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend for servicing!
