I had a bit of mixed feelings with the stay experience. It started out really really bad, with long time of queuing for check in, and other guests were complaining loudly of not getting a room, and once checked in, it turns out they miss out my request from the day before, and after that we were brought to a room for "coffee break" acting as a buffer for additional waiting time of 40 minutes, before the room is finally ready.
I understand that the overwhelming is contributed by the covid-19 situation, but it may as well be a bad hospitality management.

The room however is very spacious and cozy, we got the top floor and the view was amazing. The bathroom is the best part of the room, and I loved the bathtub. Room services is very supportive, but still long waiting time. I also got a cake and room decor for my Birthday.
But the room was not cold, I don't know I think the problem from the AC. I stay for 2 nights, and the experience in the room was okay.

The breakfast in Sailendra is really really crowded. We had to queue in every station, and coming to 10 am, I feel being rushed as they preparing for lunch settings. The taste was regular, not too special, I can compare with FP to say the least.

My final verdict is 3/5,
Since along my stays in Mariott group, especially for a 5-star luxury hotels, this one is the farthest from a seamless experience. I didn't feel any privilege or special services as Gold Member, and I just had a high expectations to spend the long weekend in here. But I appreciate all the kind services and the birthday cake
