As stated by other reviewers the Hotel has a fun history of being an old jail and the rooms/lobby have a really fun decor and theme that represent that as well. There are also bars/restaurants in the lobby to create a fun atmosphere. Its located right next to the red train, and the hospital. Which was a great location for me. The staff was pleasant and we did receive a welcome drink. The rooms were clean, quiet and well decorated. The bathroom was large and came with both a shower and a very deep tub. However beyond that the hotel is your typically average hotel. Nothing about it said "luxury" towels, sheets, amenities, were all average, nothing to rave about. My "cons" or list of improvements would be: There is no microwave in our room, which was very disappointing, how can i eat my midnight snack of left over Pai Thai with out being able to warm it up. Second is that the bathroom door which was a sliding barn door style, didn't have a lock on it. Made it hard to stop my toddler from bursting on on me while using the toilet or trying to shower. Third, the very small fridge that is in the room was stuff so full of mini bar items theres no room for your own items. To be fair that mini bar is SUPER stocked full of different kinds of liquor. So if your sole purpose of your visit is to get hammered I guess this is the hotel for you. Also the "ice" is just in a cooler in a bag and its all clumped and frozen together, which made it really hard to use. With that all being said. It was an average hotel stay. Would I stay there again?? Probably not and the main factor is because I don't think its worth the cost. Its more expensive then other hotels close by. But on top of that they charge you a $22 a day fee on TOP of the hotel room price. REALLY!! FOR WHAT?? I feel like the hotel didn't offer any extra amenities worth the extra $22 fee.
