If you're easily amused by pretty lights like a moth is to a lamp, then go to this place. Otherwise, it's kind of a waste of time. I am not surprised this "museum" attracts as many ditzy artsy western tourists as it does. Under all the pretty lights, its just some rooms with black carpets and walls with a projector playing a light show reminiscent of that old iTunes light show.

Also, people are pretty much here just for a photo-op which means that this place is pretty congested with tourists that you'd see scattered around Tokyo, only teamLab Borderless has managed to get them all in one building complex. Tbh, I have never seen as many adults act like wide-eyed children as I have walking around these rooms.

I'm only rating this 2 stars because while the whole thing is a colourful hedonistic waste of time, the service from the staff is pretty good. That's typical Japan though, so it's nothing new.

All in all, come here if you're the type of person comfortable with 'escaping reality' or have children.
