I mean it's not customer service it's collections they were helpful once I was ready to actually do something to get it resolved they're not going to do anything that they're not legally required to do, particularly if ur being confrontational and tell them u don't plan to pay a dime. I tried disputing it with the bureaus and it was just validated and the effect reamined the same. If u want to fix it on ur credit you've got to go through hillcrest. But they never lied to me. They told me what was goimg to happen to my credit before it was reported and i didnt believe them. Finally, they could have allowed me to pay in full, which I called in to do i was ready with my card, and still updated the item on my credit report as simply a paid collection but the rep actually took the initiative not only to offer me a reduction but a full deletion with the credit bureaus as if it was never there. I was treated with the same amount of respect that I gave and was able to see my credit score shoot back up over 80 points. I understand people in collections don't like what they're hearing and of course the collection agency is the easiest target to take it out on and find fault with, I'm just glad once I was actually ready to be proactive in the situation they were still willing to work with me after the hard time I'd given them in the past
