The State Theater of Northern Greece is one of the largest theatrical organizations in Greece, but also in Europe. It has been operating since 1961, promoting theatrical art through its stages, through tours to other theaters in Greece and abroad, but also through actions in alternative venues. The K.Th.B.E. is a legal entity under private law and is subsidized by the Ministry of Culture.
