I cannot say enough about how great this school is...

I cannot say enough about how great this school is! The instructors and owner have been very welcoming and encouraging from day one. I joined looking for exercise and some training. I not only received amazing training but I found myself welcomed into the PMMA family. The owner makes it a point to know all of his students and holds several events a year (open houses, cook outs) to which all students are invited and encouraged to attend. You really feel like a part of the PMMA family when you join.

The school not only offers training in multiple forms of martial arts/self defense but also has several programs that stretch beyond martial arts. The school has deep ties to the community and is always offering some form of community out reach program.

I have gone to other martial arts schools and usually find that the instruction is lax or the owners are only interested in getting your money. Pentagon MMA is going to give you your moneys worth. Their long list of daily classes allow you to get to a class at almost anytime. And every class, no matter if it's a beginner level or advanced, focuses on technique and attention to detail. No matter your skill level, the instruction you receive here will take you to the next level.

The attention to detail and technique is second to none. If the class is large, there is no hope of hiding in the back and trying to take it easy. Master Chon will not let you skate through.

I moved away from the area 2 years ago and still consider Pentagon MMA family. With the world being on a quarantine status, I was happy to see that PMMA is now offering virtual training online. I signed up right away and love being back in class with them. The virtual classes that PMMA are giving are better than some of the actual classes ive attended at other gyms.
