Cover the good first: good location, limited interaction with the staff wasn't bad, and the pool area was GREAT. Everything else, no so much. For over $300 a night the room had no mini fridge, no towel hooks (just the broken stump of where one went), pull out mirror hanging off the wall with screws sticking out, and VERY limited space. About what i would expect from a $80 a night Super 8. The chain on our door (room 150) is installed backward so it is nonfunctional. The bathroom door gets stuck if you choose it all the way. Need to hip-check it open. The spa services were double the price of anywhere I've ever gone. The spa was a nice place but I didn't feel, personally, worth double. The Elms Cafe also have a limited menu with the cheapest meal being about $30, for chicken. Thank God the location was within walking distance of a normal place to eat. With the price of the room breakfast was not included. What was offered is an very understaffed coffee shop. Perk, they were still pleasant while being understaffed but as a customer a 30 minute wait for coffee both days is crazy. The ice machine was broken and a nice staff member did get me some from the kitchen. Also even at 9am all trashes in public areas were over flowing. Public restrooms by the pill also out of toilet paper all of Saturday. Basically, for $300+ a night I'd expect a functioning room with space. Could be a really cool place but it needs work, badly.
