At First college life is appreciatable and i am enjoying it very well , let me first start with hostel life. the infrastuctures in many hostels are good mean really really nice and there are some old hostel in which infrastucture is not good but they are working on it .and the life in the kgp hostel can't be explain in words it really awesome .The facilities provided by hostel are also well , now we have everything we want in hostel . let talk about main our faculty , As all we know IITs have best faculties , some of them are excellent , a few worst but I expericene both type of professer , we say that worse but actually there the best who think about you in own life , because every student matters.In this real world we must experience bad time also because of yourself , friend , professor , senior and anybody .And we start blaming the other person who u think ruined your life but actually the we are living in IIT kharagpur gave everybody a culture that is "God is busy , May I help you" and you always have aleast a person who will help you in any problem any means Any whether its your personal or professional for that you may be approch a specific person or not as your wish . The student crowd in college is huge , I cannot write in number because they are family and we know families are not countable . There we go second last topic placement , placement are only depends upon a student. Its simple they wants CGPA , but also they are not want an engineer At first they want a good person. placement in kharagpur is great , but some of students are not happy with that because its simple they dont have CGPA greater than 7 .But Any IITian is capable of doing any impossible thing to possible. so many student start there alternate path for achieving success. Now every student in IIT kgp are became successful in his/her life because they make there own path. Now every IIT is affordable , you get a education loan and many chances to good scholarship , So i dont think so , may be its unaffordable for some body but you get a right path to tackle that problem , don't lose hope buddy .
