I bought a teapot from Wal-Mart and the product melted the first time I tried to use it, so I took it back. First, they said they couldn t accept it because it didn t have the packaging, as if you re supposed to save every box. Then they said I had to return it to the exact store I purchased it from. I had the defective product and a receipt and all they made was excuses. My receipt was for over 100 items. I spent $3500 and they want to give me a hard time over 1 teapot? They would not even agree to give me store credit, and I was planning to purchase a washer/dryer and a refrigerator tonight. I had $20,000 cash on me, but do you think I bought the expensive appliances from Wal-Mart after they treated me this way? I know for a fact that Wal-Mart policy says to grant the refund with a receipt (with or without packaging) and at a minimum I know they are supposed to give store credit. There is no way a business like Wal-Mart has different policies in Mexico than in the USA. Wal-Mart just lost a good customer forever over 8 US dollars. I am NEVER going back.

P.S. Unlike in the USA where Wal-Mart has lower prices, stores like Waldo s plus any mercado has Wal-Mart beat on prices anyway, so there s truly no reason for me to shop here ever again.
