We submitted a claim for my grandparents home back...

We submitted a claim for my grandparents home back in January 2016, because both of their bedrooms floated with a broken pipe from the laundry. We got an adjuster to handle the claim and two years has passed and nothing is been resolved. Unfortunately we now have lawyers involved!. There was a opposition set, and the lawyer from Universal was so rude with questions that my grandma was in tears; she is 80 years old. Just last summer 2017 we had to replace the floor, we paid from own pocket; because my grandpa felt and broke his hip, he needed to be back home but unfortunately he passed three months later. On top of all! every year we have to renew the policy with this awful company because still an open claim and no other insurance company will give you insurance. My grandparents had lived in this property for 22 years, never submitted a claim before! Guess what?!! We still waiting for them to pay. Do your research before getting insurance for your precious home and possessions! The insurance companies won t mind taking your money, but don t do the right thing when you need it.
