Review of W New York-Downtown

I want to start of by saying that my fost option when traveling is ALWAYS to stay at the W anywhere i go. From Barcelona to Miami to Punta mita.

I have never been treated so poorly as i was at the NYC downtown location last thursday Oct 18th. (I arrivedat the hotel from 3am-4am. Not sure exact time)

If mangment is reading this; The man who was at reception who refused to give me his name. Had the worst possible attitute anyone in the service industry could have. When I asked him why he was treating me so rudly and in a derogstory way, not only did he hint at my mexican backgound, he immidietly thetend to cancel my stay, knowing full well i was just arriving from the airport and had nowhere to go.

When i asked him to give me his name he said since he was in a Union he wasnt requiered to give me his name and not to ask again or he would call in a disturbance and again thretend to cancel my stay.

The only reason i put a 2 star review. Is that the rooom was perfect as it usually is at the W

This has single handedly changed my view on the W and who they hire. Im sad to say the W will not be my fist choice when traveling again
