I am EXTREMELY upset with Harrods. I specifically went to Europe to go to London Paris and Rome. On my last shopping day in London, I went shopping at Harrods. I rushed back to my hotel and packed and flew to Paris. I realized while unpacking in Paris that I was missing items purchased at Harrods. I spent close to 300.00 pounds there. They sent me an email stating the clerk forgot to give me one of my bags. It was the main bag of merchandise for gifts. The other bag was wrapped up Christmas decorations. I shopped SPECIFICALLY at Harrods for these items. They sent a lame apology and credited me for all the items not given to me. It gets better!!!! I looked for a credit card that I had been using to purchase items in Paris and it was missing. I called the bank and had them cancel the card and asked what the last purchase was. Not only did the Harrods clerk not give me my purchased merchandise, she failed to give me my credit card back. I had planned on using this card in Paris and Rome. They NEVER acknowledged to me that they had my card even though my last purchase was with the incompetent clerk. I still have not unwrapped the items from the other bag because I am still livid. I thought Harrods was a 5 star world class store, but I will never shop there again. They could have offered to have shipped the items they hadn't given me during the last visit there, but only offered to refund the money on the credit card that they had kept.
