I was transferred to PSL from Sky Ridge at 18 weeks pregnant with a dilated cervix and bulging amniotic sac. He was my first baby and I was absolutely terrified to lose him. I was admitted to have an emergency cerclage by one of the most awesome doctors who is a part of the Obstetrix medical group. The surgery went well, I am very lucky to have my son here today who is now 2. I was in the hospital for a week and was treated so great there. I loved almost all of the nurses! They were so good to me, my husband and family and friends who visited me. I also delivered there and my son was in NICU there for 5 weeks, all of which every experience I encountered was great! I am now pregnant with my 2nd child and plan to return there for delivery. The post partum rooms are small but with the excellence in care and compassion I receive from the nurses there, it doesn't matter at all! I would definitely recommend the L&D, and in the unfortunate event that anyone ever have a child in the NICU, this is definitely where you want your baby!!
