We reserved a room for 3 nights through Expedia. We arrived early and asked if it possible to check in early. They said they could but we would have to upgrade our room to a king. The upgrade would have cost $30 a night extra but they offered to only charge for 2 nights and give us free wifi on top of that. We agreed. The room was nice except for the ceiling. There were signs that the paint was bubbling due to water intrusion. The exhaust fan in the bathroom also did not work. It was pretty quiet on the 16th floor. The only thing you could here were emergency vehicle sirens. The front door was pretty thin. Anyone walking past the room door while talking could be heard on the inside. I assume people could easily heat through the outside as well. Pretty good location. 10 minute walk to Rockefeller center and 20 minutes from Times Square. The subway is literally next to the hotel. I would stay here again.
