I had made an appointment with the service department for a recall, AC service, and air filter change. The day before the appointment I change the air filter myself and found it was operator error with the AC unit. On May 12 when I took the vehicle to Clawson Honda Service Department, I informed the advisor, Charvon, that I did not need the AC service and that I had changed the air filter. Not a problem I was told. Upon completion of the recall repairs the advisor informed me the technician stated that the pollen and air filter needed to be replaced. I again advisor Charvon I had change the air filter yesterday, he told me the technician would not recommend it if it wasn t needed. I told the advisor I wasn t going to debate the issue and then I wanted no further work done. This is not the first time Clawson Honda has tried to push additional service on us. As a sidenote, upon review of my receipt the personal information was not correct, the advisor never verified the information. We are done doing business with Clawson Honda.
