If you want to experience racism, come to this mountain.
I purchased 2 tickets in Feb 2018. I purchased one with a gold medal card and the other one out of pocket for my brother . My brother did not know how to put the pass properly around the metal bar that Clips into the jacket zipper and because of that one of the ski Patrol in charge of the security took him to the office. My brother tried to explain the situation but Izzy, was unwilling to listen to him kept interrupting him and he was unable to express his point of view. She kept telling him that he has to pay a $200 fine in addition they will call the police an escort us without one word from us. Things got escalated and I had to come to sort things out.
The people in case are Lyon, Izzy and Dan all of which listened to our case with deaf ears. My brother and I are not Caucasian unlike the 3 people mentioned and there was a definite racial discrimination against us as no one listened 2 our point in case. My gold medal card was confiscated as well as my pass for the day. It's unfortunate because we were not the same skin tone, that what we said was meaningless and they wanted to call the police for no reason.
