If I could've given it less than 1 star, I would have! My husband and I went to the restaurant to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and we were so disappointed! Let me point out the positive note first...the staff was excellent. Our server Jay was very nice and attentive. The rest of the staff was very nice as well. But, you don't go to a restaurant for great staff, you go for great food, right?!
Well, our food was HORRIBLE! The crab fondue appetizer was a soupy mess! We let it slide because we were so excited to have the whole crab that they are so famous for. First of all, it WAS NOT a whole crab. It was the attached legs presented with the whole crab SHELL. But all the the meat from the inside of the crab was missing! It might have bothered me more of the crab was good and I felt like I was missing something, but it was TERRIBLE! The crab was dirty and gritty and there was no seasoning infused whatsoever. Just FYI, I love crab and am very familiar with how it is suppose to be when it is cooked and seasoned properly.
Unfortunately, I left my special anniversary dinner hungry because I refused to eat bad food that I was not at all enjoying.
