We had such a good experience at teamLab. We arrived 10 minutes before opening time (10am), and there were already a few hundred people lined up inside and outside. Despite this, it was surprisingly quick to get in and through to the rooms. Before going in, I would suggest putting bags or bigger items in the lockers at the start, as it would save room and hassle.

Once in, it is not crowded, as there are many rooms and they are all large. Every room was interesting and very well done. We were extremely impressed by the size and execution of teamLab. It is unlike anything I had experienced before.

Around 11.30-12, it was clearly getting busier - so I would recommend turning up right before it opens. Also for the more popular rooms (like the Forest of Resonating Lamps), it is best to go there straight away to avoid queuing to get in. Queuing is not needed for most rooms though.

Definitely come here if you are near Tokyo.
