My Girl and I decided to swing out and put our Penske VIP tickets to good use. From parking to dinner Penske racing was top notch. The Penske Hospitality tent was stocked with refreshments and snacks and when Lunch rolled around the put out a big spread with all the goodies. Thank you Penske for a great time.
I havent been to the Grand Prix in a long time but really enjoyed the TransAm series with the Mustangs, Challengers, and Camaros whipping around the track. Watched quite a few camaros 3 wheel it around the curves.... gotta keep all four on the pavement guys... lol the event was well staffed with friendly and polite volunteers that really seemed to enjoy being there. There was a very heavy police presence to provide a good feel of security as well as great lakes security being on hand.
The crowd seemed to have a relaxed feel and knucklehead free.... will definitely return for future races.
